Atlas Copco was opening a new facility in North Bay, and would be bringing company officials from overseas to attend. Our job was to both plan the launch event – including PR, media, and hosting – and to entertain the important visitors while they were here. To show the dignitaries a taste of Canada, we hired a train to Temagami and back along with food and entertainment to complete the northern experience. On launch day, Scott Clark hosted the unveiling of the new facility. To maximize the momentum of the event, newspaper stories were followed by advertising which helped sustain the buzz.
